First off is an artist we have had the pleasure to meet,  Amber Gardner. She has a unique style(s), uses varies mediums and is passionate about her work. ( Below is a photo of a few of the pieces we have purchased from her). She also designs and makes Steampunk jewelry and incorporates it into her art work. On the literary front, I am reading Joan Didion’s “The Year Of Magical Thinking” at the suggestion of my new boss. It is a story loss and all that it entails. After that I am going to read “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck, a book I have never read. Not sure about the timing but it seems it is simply time to do so.

There is art that some take serious and then there is serious art. I do not know where Chicken Coop Art falls in this equation but I like it none the less. It is, well cool, colorful and in my opinion well done. She does not have an online store but her website has a listing of upcoming show dates.
