About The Header Picture

I was trying out my hand at taking pictures of fire. As I have discovered taking pictures of fire is about as hard as it was to discover fire in the first place! I down loaded several pictures and was studying them on my PC. Laying to my right was my wife’s old 35mm manual film camera. I took off the lens and held it up against the flame of the picture on my screen. I then grabbed my Canon S3is and took this picture.

The flame reminds me of the heat of some of my personal battles and wrangling with life’s larger issues. The lens is a symbol of what is our minds view based on our aperture of life: Our life’s experiences.
