Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge – Music

Here are a couple of my photos with a quote that for me is true for better or worse. The first photo I took was at the reception of one of the coolest weddings I have been to. The bride, not my The Bride, is a special ed teacher and has directed several plays. The wedding was held on the main stage of a very well known and respected theater in Louisville, Ky. After the wedding there was live music and one of the bands that played was made up of the bride, her dad and some cool old well seasoned rockers. I have had the pleasure of backing them up on the drums several times. The band’s name aptly enough is “Vintage Wine”. The camera I used was my Minolta X-370 35mm film camera.

The second photo I took of the kit I played while performing Andrew Peterson’s “Behold the Lamb of God”. The theater was built in the Roaring 30’s and recently has had a rebirth.

  1. Beautiful! Music is defiitely in the air there! I have always wanted learn to play 2 things – guitar and drums…somehow ended up with the piano, though did come close to both others as well. 🙂

    • One of my favorite lines is ” I have a face for radio and a voice for drumming” I feel for blessed to be able to play the drums and share my music with others.
Thanks for the challenges and your comments are always welcomed!
