For Ese’s Weekly Shoot and Quote Challenge-Silence. I found several quotes I could have used but this one sings to me and is one I think most people understand. And also ignore. Why? Because it makes one uncomfortable to pursue silence in a world made up largely of noise: News feeds, music,all things streaming and the social media cotton-candy that keeps us connected yet in many ways keeps us from our true self’s . It also means we cannot hide from ourselves and others, both of which we are very skilful in doing. Knowing this, and having a desire to seek truly who and what we are, means we must face the loudness of silence…and ourselves.
