It has been a while since my last post. It has been a while since I have had the space to seek, and be comforted, by true quietness.  It has been a while since peace was my constant companion. It has been a while since the sun has shown up on a consistent basis. It has been a while since my plate has not had a heaping pile of conflict on it. It has been a while since life has been anything but easy. It has been a while since the last day of fall and the wonders of color decorated my world. It has been a while since it has been any other way for others as well.

And it will be a while before those things I love and seek return.  It has been a while since the light has shone through the dark but it is coming so I will be silent for a while longer still. It has only been a while and nothing last forever.
